When Biology Strikes Out: The Trans Sports Circus Continues

Written by Scott K. James

Minnesota girls sue over being forced to compete against a trans male pitcher—because reality still matters, even in woke ballparks.

The judicial ballgame just got weirder in Minnesota. According to Fox News, high school softball players are taking their state to court for the wild idea that female athletes shouldn’t be forced to compete against a transgender (read: biological male) pitcher. This legal battle kicked off with arguments flying harder than a fastball at regionals.

The Bullet Point Brief

  • Female athletes are suing the state because they’re expected to play against a transgender pitcher – a biological boy claiming girlhood because… feelings?
  • Minnesota State High School League policies let boys into girls’ sports if they say they’re girls – no questions asked. Real science meets woke identity wrapped in legal nonsense.
  • Attorneys argue this violates Title IX, a law ironically meant to protect women’s sports from being turned into co-ed chaos by progressive policies.
  • The opposition wants everyone to clap like trained seals as fairness and biology get thrown out at first base, one pronoun at a time.
  • The judge didn’t rule yet – but the fact we’re litigating this garbage shows just how far off the rails we’ve gone.

My Bottom Line

Finally, some young women are willing to stand up and say what most grown men are too gutless to admit: You don’t get to rewrite biology mid-inning and call that ‘fair play.’ This isn’t “live your truth” – this is “force everyone else to pretend your delusion is reality or else.” What these girls are doing isn’t just brave, it’s rebellion against institutionalized lunacy. Bless ‘em for it.

Title IX was written to level the playing field for females – not hand it over to confused boys cosplaying womanhood in cleats. These girls should be getting trophies, not lawsuits, for having more spine than every PR-sanitized athlete on ESPN combined. If the left wants their religion of identity worship and unicorn genders at home, fine. But don’t jam it into high school sports and call it equality. That’s not justice, that’s sacrifice at the altar of woke ideology.

Here’s what nobody wants to say out loud: forcing girls to compete against biological males doesn’t empower women, it erases them. It’s misogyny… repackaged with glitter and a hormone prescription. And if society won’t set this madness straight, maybe these teenage warriors will have to strike out at wokeism all by themselves. Batter up, ladies – and God bless your courage.

Let’s cut the crap: this isn’t just bad policy, it’s a spiritual circus where biology gets shoved in the locker so feelings can play varsity. The Bible already settled this debate on page one:

  • “So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” (Genesis 1:27)

Translation: God said “male” and “female.” Not “male, female, and whatever TikTok’s trending this week.” There’s no cosmic asterisk where Adam gets a mulligan and Eve decides to identify as Steve.

Paul saw this kind of nonsense coming too: “For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God… they became futile in their thinking… Claiming to be wise, they became fools.” (Romans 1:21–22)

That’s Washington D.C., every school board, and apparently half the Minnesota judiciary in a nutshell. We don’t have wise leaders anymore – we’ve got clowns juggling pronouns.

But here’s where Christians can’t screw this up: our job isn’t to throw stones, it’s to throw truth – and to do it in love. Jesus said, “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” (Matthew 5:44). Which means yeah, we fight the lie, but we don’t get to hate the kid pitching fastballs in borrowed womanhood. That boy isn’t the enemy – he’s a confused soul who needs Jesus way more than another hormone shot.

So what do we do?

  • Stand with courage. Joshua 1:9 says “Be strong and courageous” – not “be silent and let the school board steamroll your daughters.”
  • Speak with clarity. Ephesians 4:15 calls us to “speak the truth in love.” Truth doesn’t mean patting a lie on the head and calling it “brave.”
  • Pray with conviction. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us we’re not fighting the kid in eyeliner – we’re fighting the spiritual garbage whispering in his ear.
  • Love with grace. That pitcher? He doesn’t need more applause from activists – he needs someone brave enough to tell him God already defined him. That’s real compassion.

At the end of the day, this isn’t about softball trophies. It’s about whether society still believes in truth or if we’ve all agreed to cosplay madness until the collapse. These girls are drawing the line in the sand. The least Christians can do is stand behind them, Bible in one hand, love in the other, and maybe a catcher’s mitt – because this fight’s just warming up.
