Taylor Sullivan Resigns—Now Pay Attention, Parents

Written by Scott K. James

Conservative voice Taylor Sullivan exits District 6 BOE. Now it’s up to local parents to step up before the CEA puppets take over your kids’ education.

Taylor Sullivan just resigned from the District 6 Board of Education—that’s Greeley-Evans schools if you’re keeping score. The news came straight from the Greeley Tribune, and while I don’t cry often (unless tractors break down), this one stings a little. Taylor was one of the few voices of sanity trying to hold back the flood of CEA infestation in public education.

The Bullet Point Brief

  • Taylor Sullivan bailed from District 6 BOE, leaving a big conservative gap.
  • The teacher unions are probably doing cartwheels in the parking lot right now.
  • If local parents don’t wake up and show up, get ready for curriculum written by TikTok activists.
  • Your school board matters more than D.C.—and those clowns barely know which bathroom to use.

My Bottom Line

Let me put it plainly: we just lost a fighter. Taylor wasn’t there to play games or kiss rings—she was there for the kids, the parents, and for actual accountability in schools. And now that she’s stepped aside, I’m looking at every suburban mom and dad who’s been sleepwalking through school board elections like it’s a bake sale raffle. Wake up. You’ve got a front-row seat to WHO educates your child—or more accurately these days, who indoctrinates them.

School boards are the front lines of defending sanity in America. Forget congress—those primetime jokers couldn’t pass gas responsibly, let alone legislation. But your local BOE? That’s where walkouts turn into wokeness and sex-ed turns into social engineering seminars. You think it doesn’t matter until your eight-year-old comes home explaining climate guilt through interpretive dance.

This is your wake-up call: get involved, show up at meetings, ask questions, read the damn curriculum before it reads your kid into therapy. Because if folks like Taylor aren’t replaced with more fiery conservatives who believe parents—not government—should raise children…the Colorado Education Association’s gonna slide their carefully groomed candidates onto that board faster than you can say “preferred pronouns.”

Well done, Taylor—and God help us if nobody else steps in.

  • How can you say she was a fighter and there for the kids when she bails without finishing her term? Also personally I would prefer if the children were taught empathy and actual science rather than being uneducated leaving them open to being misguided by charlatans like you.

    • People’s lives change—shocking, I know. She moved out of state. It happens. Instead of armchair-sniping, maybe try being grateful that anyone, left or right, has the guts to put their name on a ballot and serve. It’s not exactly a cakewalk.

As for teaching my kid “empathy”? That’s my damn job as a parent, not yours, not the state’s, and sure as hell not some self-righteous stranger on the internet. You want science? Great. Let’s start with the basics: XX = female, XY = male. That’s not opinion. That’s biology. There’s no magical chromosome combo for “feelings.”

Save the condescension for your next quinoa potluck.
