Denver’s back at it—blowing your tax dollars on another anti-Trump lawsuit while potholes and homelessness enjoy diplomatic immunity.

Well, folks, the City and County of Denver just filed their fourth lawsuit against the Trump administration. Yep, fourth. Like a bad sequel nobody asked for—but here it is anyway. This time? Immigration-related virtue signaling wrapped in a press release and tied with your tax dollars.

The Bullet Point Brief

  • Denver has now sued Trump FOUR times. At this point it’s less about justice and more about attention addiction.
  • They’re throwing taxpayer money at lawsuits like drunk gamblers playing roulette—with your wallet.
  • Mayor Johnston’s priorities: Lawsuits > fixing crime, transportation, infrastructure—you know, actual city issues.
  • This latest case is basically political theater with a $500/hour script writer (aka the city-funded legal team).

My Bottom Line

Here we go again—Mayor Johnston using taxpayer cash like Monopoly money to fund yet another temper tantrum against the Trump administration. Fourth lawsuit, same playbook: virtue signal hard, drag it through the courts for maximum headlines, accomplish next to nothing for actual Denverites. Meanwhile potholes widen into sinkholes and homeless encampments look like permanent zoning redesigns.

Let me be real clear: I don’t care if you’re Team Trump or Team Toaster Oven—this is NOT how responsible government works. Filing lawsuits just to thumb your nose at federal policies you don’t like ain’t local governance—it’s a middle school food fight with court fees. Turns out leading with principles means actually taking care of your constituents—not racking up court battles just to trend on progressive Twitter.

This stunt doesn’t keep families safe or businesses open—it just makes liberal politicians feel morally superior while pretending they’re fighting “injustice,” when really they’re burning through tax dollars like kids lighting fireworks in July. If Mayor Hancock wants to run for high priest of progressive purity, great—just do it without dragging hardworking taxpayers along for the ride. Colorado deserves better than lawsuits-for-likes.
