Colorado’s Blue Hangover: Why We’re Still Stuck in Crazytown

While the rest of America might finally be waking up, Colorado is still high on progressive fairy dust and drowning in blue nonsense. Here’s why.

Another poll, this one from the Wall Street Journal via Newsmax, shows what we’ve all been sensing: there’s a red wave swelling nationally. Trump’s surging. Biden’s flailing like a fish in the bottom of the boat. Americans are tired of the inflation buffet, open-borders bonanza, and bureaucrats with the spine of a gummy worm.

But here’s the kicker, Colorado didn’t get the memo. While places like Nevada and even freaking Minnesota are seeing red flashes of rebellion against the woke elite machine… Colorado? Still out here puffin’ its way through another progressive fever dream.

The Bullet Point Brief

  • On immigration, crime, inflation, you name it, the Democratic party is hemorrhaging public trust like a stuck pig.
  • Yet somehow Colorado voters keep handing over full control to far-left Dems like it’s a subscription box for high taxes and nanny-state policies.
  • Meanwhile, our GOP leadership can’t seem to organize bingo night without setting something on fire.

My Bottom Line

I certainly don’t have all the answers about why Colorado still drops blue ballots like heroin addicts drop standards… but I can take a good whack at it. First off, our state GOP? Let’s just say if incompetence were an Olympic sport, we’d be getting gold medals (and then banning them for being too shiny). There ain’t strategy. There ain’t backbone. There ain’t even messaging.

Meanwhile, you’ve got Colorado Democrats running campaigns slicker than oil and twice as greasy. They’ve capitalized on abortion like it’s a spiritual calling. And frankly? It’s worked. They’ve turned “keep your laws off my body” into an entire political economy while Republicans stand around arguing about purity tests and Liberty Scores that no one outside their echo chamber cares about.

Let’s not forget motor voter registration, basically auto-enrolls people onto voter rolls whether they’re eligible or not, and don’t get me started on transplants from California voting like they’re still trying to impress their HOA board president. Add in Polis playing emperor with his little gang of four pulling strings behind the curtain—and you’ve got progressive rule with zero checks and balances.

So here we are, in a state with booming energy potential yet under attack from green utopians who think windmills can power data centers. A place that worships weed and ‘shrooms but panics at the thought of school choice, or heaven forbid, a law-abiding gun owner legally purchasing a firearm.

Bottom line? National sentiment is shifting toward sanity, but Colorado’s still doing keg stands at the leftist frat party. And unless Republicans wake up fast, organize smarter, speak clearly, and remember that voters want freedom, not more regulation, we’re gonna be stuck watching this same circus on repeat.

Those are my thoughts. What are yours? Drop them in the comments below.
